Order Preparation Time
Most items will be packaged and shipped out within 2 business days of placing your order.  Please note that although we generally try to ship out all orders as quickly as possible, delays may occur during periods of high demand.  We cannot guarantee any specific time frame to prepare and ship out orders after they are placed.

Shipping Services and Delivery Times
Shipping options are presented at checkout with approximate delivery time estimates.  Please note that these estimates do not include preparation and packaging time (as outlined in the previous section "Order Preparation Time").  Also, the quoted delivery time frames are not guaranteed by the shipping provider, and are on a best effort basis.  Sweet Dessert Bar & Co cannot be responsible for any unforeseen shipping delays caused by the courier / shipping provider, although we will try to help resolve any issues that may arise.

Customs Clearance for International Shipments
International shipments (any destination that lies outside of Canada) may be subject to further delays due to customs clearance upon arriving at the destination country.  Customs clearance delays lie outside of our control, and thus Sweet Dessert Bar & Co or the shipping provider / courier cannot be held responsible for such occurrences.

Duty, Brokerage Fees, and/or Import Taxes
Please note that any international order may be subject to duty fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, and or local government taxes as determined by the destination country.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify local laws and regulations governing the determination of duty/import charges, brokerage fees, and any other local taxes prior to ordering.  Sweet Dessert Bar & Co is not responsible for these charges and is unable to provide specific guidance as to their applicability to your order.  For more information, please visit your country's government website pertaining to customs and the importing of foreign goods.
